1 Corinthians 2:9

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
   and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
   for those who love him.”

I’ve often said, If I knew at 18 what God had planned for my life up until now I would have pulled a complete Jonah. I was painfully shy growing up and being stuck in the belly of a whale and puked up on the shore would have been a more welcome thought than if God had laid out every adventure I’ve had over the years. Thankfully God is a good and loving God, holds the plans for our lives and reveals new adventures at a pace we can grow into. 

How amazing is it that he wants the absolute best for his children.

This verse is awesome. Imagine the most amazing thing you could see, it’s still not great enough, beautiful enough, big enough for what God still has to show you. Imagine the most beautiful thing you could ever hear –  there isn’t anything you could imagine that will prepare you for what God will bring to your ears and speak into your heart. Even your imagination is not big enough to perceive God’s plans. 

P.s. Isn’t he incredible, wonderful, mighty, magnificent, loving, beautiful, precious, astounding, infinite, indescribable…… there aren’t even enough words!!!!
