Day 7

 Isaiah 43:1-3

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the Lordyour God,
    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

Did you know the bible tells us not to be afraid 365 times in total? I think the fact that equals one reminder each day of the year is no coincidence! Living a fearless life doesn’t mean we’re never afraid, we’re human, we’re not perfect, we get scared. But it’s what you do with that fear that is the defining moment. What are you afraid of? Think about it, find it and give to God.

If I’m brutally honest, being vulnerable scares me, I know i’m not alone in that. But when I’m faced with those vulnerable moments, when I’m scared to do something alone or I don’t know what to do; I know that I can face whatever it is, however hard it is, because I have a God who is all powerful, all knowing and everywhere. Belonging to him is the best place I will ever be. So when you’re scared remember God said:

‘Do not fear I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name, you are mine.’

P.s Listen to Hillsong When the Fight Calls and make it your anthem.
