Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast

It took me a while to learn about Grace. When I became a Christian I thought I still had to work my way to God liking me, any mistake I made I felt like he didn’t like me anymore, I was 11 at the time and it wasn’t until my early 20’s that I discovered otherwise. So many people still hold the belief that we have to work our way into God’s good books though. Thank God for grace. Knowing that there is nothing we can do to save ourselves, no way to work ourselves into heaven, that grace is a gift and all we have to do is accept it. 

Another insanely beautiful thing about grace is how God gives it. He doesn’t limit his love or his forgiveness. He loves outrageously, when we give him no cause to love us at all. How much more amazing still that he chooses to love us while we are still sinful and lost, before we knew him even? 

P.s Jesus says, ‘freely you have received, freely give.’ get out into the world and love someone without cause, show them the Jesus who loves them!
