You’ll have seen and heard about the recent troubles in Nigeria, the stories that hit news headlines recently have made such an impact both online and off, in all the negativity that has hit the country it’s so easy to miss the positive progress that is being made there.
In a town called Jos there’s a project named Open Doors. It’s a haven for children with learning difficulties and special needs. It offers classes in Literacy, Numeracy, Life skills, Cookery and all kinds of educational opportunities that these children have missed as well as physiotherapy.
This exciting project currently caters for 60 children and young people and I am truly blessed to say that I will be joining their teaching team as a volunteer from September this year until Christmas.
But, before I can get on the plane I need to raise some funds for my flights and the project. I would LOVE you to be a part of my journey. What better way to support by coming and sharing tea and cakes at our high-tea event! For just **£10**You’ll get to taste a selection of the finest high tea fare and be entertained by our resident musicians Timothée Gauvrit and Richard Laurence
